The Airlie Beach Triathlon is in its eighth consecutive year and draws competitors from far and wide. The Whitsunday Triathlon Club was formed in 1999 by a very small band of enthusiasts who immediately set about organising a triathlon. The first event was so successful that it is now an annual event and acclaimed as the best triathlon in North Queensland.

Hamilton Island hosts Australia's largest, oldest and richest outrigger canoe events attracting more than 1000 competitors from all over Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Fiji and Hawaii. Come join in the fun and see what it's all about.

The restaurants of Airlie Beach will join together for the Airlie Beach Food and Wine Festival. They aim to produce for you an evening celebrating the diversity of the regions fine food combined with an extensive range of Australian wines.

The ultimate food and wine weekend in the ultimate tropical location. Hosted by Len Evans, AO, OBE with an array of expert chefs and winemakers, this event is a foodies delight, small and exclusive with maximum exposure to Australian culinary gems.
