Great Barrier Reef Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world's largest living natural configuration and is visible from outer space. World Heritage listed, the Great Barrier Reef has become renowned as the eighth wonder of the world.
Whitehaven Beach Whitehaven Beach

The largest of the Whitsunday group of islands. Whitehaven Beach, 9 kilometres long, is located on the southeast coast and is the longest expanse of unbroken beach in the area. There are National Parks to explore around Whitehaven Beach and some good snorkelling sites at its southern end.

Hamilton Island Hamilton Island

The Whitsunday island's Hamilton Island is flanked by high-rise hotels, an international airport and is the most heavily developed island in the Whitsundays. A tropical paradise of island adventure Hamilton Island has a vast array of adventure activities including parasailing, scuba diving, cruising and helicopter joy flights. There are also squash courts, shopping areas, take-away shops and a supermarket. The island also feature nine restaurants that offer guests an array of culinary delights. Day-trippers can use all the resort facilities.

Daydream Island Daydream Island

An island paradise that is perfect for families Daydream Island is the closest island to Shute Harbour Day-trippers are welcome with an array of features such as a swimming pool, tennis courts and water sports it is the perfect fun-filled island attraction in the Whitsundays.

Lindeman Island Lindeman Island

The most southerly of the Whitsunday Islands, Lindeman Island is made up mostly of national park but its main attribute is that Australia's only Club Med resort is on the island. The resort offers guests a golf course, tennis courts and many water activities. There are also an abundance of deserted beaches to enjoy around the island.

Long Island Long Island

Long Island is part of the Whitsunday Island group and for those who want to explore the natural paradise there is over 2000 acres of National Park and tropical beaches, with approximately 20km of walking tracks offering some the most breathtaking views over the Whitsundays.
