There are copious things to do and see in Tasmania with the main things being visiting the National Parks, going bush walking, visiting historical towns or fishing. Some of the National Parks which should be on your list of things to do are: Rocky Cape National Park, Mole Creek Karst National Park, Mt William National Park, Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park and South West National Park. If historic towns are your cup of tea then Campbell Town, Ross town – which has the 3rd oldest bridge in Australia, Zeehan and Darlington (a penal colony) should be on your list of things to do.

Pipers Brook and Pipers River are known for their wine while Sheffield is known as the ‘Town of Murals’. Fossil Bluff is a great place to visit if you want to see some extremely old fossils, Maria Island if you love wildlife, native birds and scuba diving, Arthur River if you want to get some good fishing in and Hastings Cave State Reserve for caves and thermal pools.
