The weekly roving markets of the Byron area are famous for their range of produce, new age funkiness and great atmosphere. Byron Bay, The Channon and Bangalow have the biggest and best markets on the first, second and fourth Sundays of each month respectively.

Byron Bay Markets, Byron Bay
Byron Bay's craft and produce market, held at the Butler Street reserve on the first Sunday of the month, is one of the best in the region. Covering an area of a few acres and arranged in orderly rows, the market offers a vast array of handcrafted wares, locally-grown produce, and artworks of every kind. It's best to get there early and allow a few hours to take in all the stalls, indulge in some fresh nourishment and feel the culture. |

Bangalow is a town just east of Nimbin and west of Byron bay. The village has an historical treasure.
