The Fraser Coast region starts just north of the Sunshine Coast and encompasses the areas of Fraser Island, Hervey Bay, Rainbow bay, Maryborough, Tiaro and the Great Sandy Straight. Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island and one of the very few places where you can find a rainforest on the beach.
