Fraser Coast offers plenty of places for people to indulge in some retail therapy. Around Fraser Coast there are national brand-name stores, contemporary stores, boutiques, shopping malls, arcades and markets. The two main markets that you need to visit during your trip to Fraser Coast are the Maryborough Heritage City Markets and the Nikenbah Markets.

The Maryborough Heritage City Markets are held every Thursday along Adelaide and Ellena Streets in the CBD of Maryborough. The markets start at 8am and have stalls with fresh, local fruit and vegetables, crafts and plants. You can take a train trip on the Mary Anne and make sure you’re around at 1pm which the cannon is fired by the Town Crier and Mary Heritage.

The Nikenbah Markets are held on the first and third Sunday of every month and stall include fresh produce, art and crafts, cakes and much, much more.
