Fraser Coast Events

Did you know Hervey Bay is home to over 30 different ethnic groups? All these different groups are coming together, in what is hoped will be a spectacular annual event, the 'Fraser Coast Cultural Festival'. Multicultural groups are helping to run the event and will provide food, music and dance along with other cultural offerings. Come along and enjoy the showcase of locul cultural talent and that of visiting performers from Melbourne and other cities.

Hervey Bay Surf Life Saving Club presents the 9th Annual 'Pier to Pub' Ocean Swim. Introducing a new 1,500 metre short course as well as the traditional 3,200 metre ocean swim from the Urangan Pier to the jetty in Torquay. Cash prizes include $150 for long course open winners and $100 for short course open winners. Age group winners also receive cash prizes. All competitors have a chance at spot prizes. Enter to swim, or just enjoy the spectacle of this great event.
