Brisbane Attractions
There's plenty of attractions in Brisbane including Brisbane's Alma Zoo Park, Museum of Brisbane, City Botanic Gardens, Institute of Modern Art and Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard and Winery, St John's Cathedral just to name a few. And with the Gold Coast just a short drive away there is also Dream World, Wet and Wild, Seaworld, Movie World and White Water World to visit.

Botanical Gardens
The Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Coot-tha are Queensland's premier subtropical botanic gardens. These 52 hectare gardens are situated seven kilometres from the city centre which is only a 15 minute drive. The Brisbane Botanic Gardens are open every day. From April to August they close at 5pm. Entry to the gardens is free. |

Alma Park Zoo
Alma Park Zoo is an easy drive about 30 minutes (or 28Km) North of the Brisbane City Centre just off the Bruce Highway on the way to the Sunshine Coast. Alma Park Zoo is a unique tropical zoo set on 20 acres of award winning palm gardens with Australian and exotic animals nestled amongst them. |

Queensland Museum
From dung beetles to dinosaurs, the exhibition examines the relationship between creatures big and small, past and present, and illustrates the dramatic effect that size can have on survival. The ‘Great Wall’ illustrates some of the biggest and smallest animals that have ever lived. Their ‘real size’ allow you to compare yourself against other monstrous and minute creatures from the animal kingdom. |
